Donations to Scottie Michaud Memorial Fund

In Loving Memory of Scott Michaud
The Christmas in Historic Springboro committee is heartbroken over the news of a life lost far too soon.

Scottie’s impact on his family, friends, teammates, and the entire Springboro community will be felt for years to come. From the lacrosse fields of Springboro to Marquette University and beyond, his determination, talent, and heart of gold left a lasting legacy. He was not only an outstanding athlete and student, but also a kind and compassionate soul who touched countless lives.

We were deeply saddened to learn that Scottie was the son of one of our standout volunteers. Craig Michaud first got involved with Christmas in Springboro when his wife Diane “volun-told” him to serve as a Beer Tent Captain. Craig quickly became an asset that we requested to return each year. He would bring Diane along to help —they are always giving of their time and talents.

The Scott Michaud Scholarship fund has been established. All tips collected at the Beer Tent during this year’s festival will be donated directly to the fund. Donations can be made now through the GoFundMe page linked below.

Please keep Craig, Diane, and their family & friends in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
